Tutorial Tuesday: Pencil Skirt & New The Wolf and the Tree Patterns

I've come to the realization that one of the most year round essentials in my closet is a pencil skirt, so for this weeks Tutorial Tuesday I wanted to share this Knit Pencil Skirt Tutorial from Adrianna of Crafterhours. Knit pencil skirts are incredibly comfortable to wear, and they can be dressed up or down, depending on the choice of fabric and what you wear with it. Personally, I love to experiment with bolder prints for my skirt and then I'll wear a basic tee or chambray shirt on top.
One thing I love about this tutorial is how thorough the instructions on obtaining your measurements are. 
Adrianna takes you every step of the way to ensure the perfect fit and finishing with just a few extra steps.
You can use almost any knit fabric for your skirt. If you've never sewn a skirt before, I would suggest starting with a medium weight knit such as Cotton Lycra or Ponte De Roma. A few of my picks from the store:
