MiY Collection: Parkwood Cosy Cowl Sewing Pattern |

The perfect accessory for winter and in-between seasons. The snuggly cowl / snood pattern sits over the shoulders with a high funnel neck and small pleats at the shoulders to create a nice drape and fit. It can be made in 4 different versions, all of which are printed on the pattern and fully explained in the instruction booklet. The pattern works in either knitted or woven fabrics and gives a structured shape with thicker fabrics or a more draped effect with lighter weight fabrics.
This is a beginner level sewing pattern, suitable for absolute beginners, a good one for sewing homemade gifts as it's quick and easy.
Suggested fabrics are medium to heavier knit fabrics such as Hacci Sweater, French Terry or Sweatshirt Fleece but can also be made in Cotton Jersey for a much looser, more draped effect.
Fabric Requirements Guide
Fabric width 125cm+
Cowl all in one fabric: 1 metre
Cowl with different lining: Outer 0.5 metres, Lining 0.5 metres
Cowl with vertical seam in 2 fabrics: Fabric A 0.5 metres, Fabric B 0.5 metres
Cowl with diagonal panel in 2 fabrics: Fabric A 0.5 metres, Fabric B 0.5 metres
