MiY Collection: Longley Drapey Cardigan Sewing Pattern

Model: SP-5003

You will live in this cardigan! Its generous draped front is seriously flattering and you can wrap it around yourself when you want to be really cosy. The deep neckband and hemband and foldback cuffs can be made in contrast fabric. This pattern is designed for stretch knit fabrics only and can be made in a variety of knitted fabrics from single jersey to sweatshirt. You can mix and match your fabrics, using contrasting colours or prints for the neck, hem and cuffs.

The cardi is a fairly loose fitting, generously sized garment so 3 sizes are included in the pattern ranging from bust size 80cm to 101cm (31.5" to 40"). This pattern is sized based on body measurements not dress sizes and includes full details of finished garment measurements for each size to make sure you get the right size first time.
This is a beginner level sewing pattern but is best for sewers who have already made a couple of projects rather than absolute beginners.

Suggested fabrics are stretch knit fabrics such as Cotton Jersey, Hacci Sweater, French Terry or Sweatshirt Fleece.
